LOCAL ACADEMIC TRAINING 2025: SPREAD THE KNOWLEDGE – STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE IN COMPETITION

Jakarta, 15 November 2025 — “Spread The Knowledge: Striking Competitions As A Champion” was successfully adopted as the theme for this year’s Local Academic Training (LAT). LAT is an annual program organized by AMSA-UAJ as a mandatory initiative under AMSA-Indonesia, aimed at providing knowledge on scientific writing and information related to competitions. The series of LAT activities was carefully designed to support the objectives of the program. This year, Michael Yonsin Rumuy, Executive Committee of Skills and Development 2024, was appointed as the Project Officer of LAT, working together with the entire organizing committee.
The event began with participant registration, where attendees were warmly welcomed by the committee and the MC. This was followed by a pre-test session to assess participants’ initial knowledge. The program then continued with an opening session delivered by the Regional Chairperson of AMSA-Indonesia along with a representative from AMSA-UAJ. The LAT series included two webinar sessions with guest speakers, followed by a question-and-answer session, a workshop activity, and presentations of workshop outcomes by group representatives. The event concluded with a group photo session involving all participants and committee members.
Despite several challenges encountered during the event, LAT was successfully carried out. It is hoped that next year’s LAT can be implemented even better, taking into account the evaluations from this year’s event.
